From a one-act play illustrating key concepts of the American Civil Rights Movement to a dazzling display of West African dance and drumming, Young Audiences has performance programs that engage all grade levels and fill many needs.

Through a balance of demonstration and audience participation, Young Audiences performances introduce students to an art form, support various curricular areas, and inject excitement and wonder into the school day.

Unless otherwise noted, each Young Audiences performance lasts 45 minutes and accommodates up to 300 students in an auditorium, gymnasium or other large-group setting. Most performances also have companion workshops that extend the experience for students in a smaller, hands-on setting.

The Performance Plus fee includes a performance and up to three workshops on the same day.
