Recognizing Excellence

Every year since 2001, Young Audiences has presented the Arts Educator Awards to recognize and celebrate individuals from all educational disciplines who use the arts to enrich education and enhance the learning of students. These honorees are the vital link between students and the arts, teaching in innovative ways and promoting creative learning.

Winners are selected by panel of distinguished business, education and community leaders.

Winners receive a cash stipend and a program voucher for Young Audiences programs.

Nomination Details

Our goal is to have the entire community be a part of the process of recognizing outstanding educators. YANEO encourages nominations from parents, students, school administrators, and professional colleagues, as well as business and community leaders. The nomination process occurs in the fall of each year. The winners are honored at a special event that is open to the community in each spring. Check back on this website in the fall when nomination forms are made available.
