Young Audiences
Summer Institute

Since 1998, Young Audiences has hosted an annual educational event for teachers, principals, teaching artists and arts administrators at Cleveland State University. Past conferences have explored how to integrate the arts across the curriculum from different perspectives using innovative methods. Session topics have included connecting the arts to the STEM curricula, multiple intelligences, digital media, classroom technology, student assessment, lesson plan development, grant writing and student-centered learning.

Participants experience live performances, art-making workshops, team planning sessions, informative and dynamic presentations from local and nationally-recognized experts in the arts education field. Discover proven and effective strategies for integrating the arts across the learning spectrum. Leave with a renewed understanding of arts-infused learning and teaching. Learn how to advocate for the arts in your school and community.

Summer Institute 2013 is currently scheduled for August 6-8 at Cleveland State. Look for more information and registration here in late May 2013.
