| PROGRAM DETAILS |

| Professional dancer and teacher Desmond Davis gets children on their feet through warm ups, movement exercises, and choreography. Children work in groups and improvise to learn about movement, energy, space and time. This program can incorporate a story, a poem or themes such as sports, science, or math that are explored through dance. All out of school time programs are $125 per hour. |

Desmond L. Davis is a proud native of Cleveland, Ohio and a founding company member of Cleveland Contemporary Dance Theatre (CCDT). During his nine seasons with the company, Desmond performed the works of Executive/Artistic director, Michael Medcalf, and others from across the country and locally. For the past 7 years “Mr. Desmond”, as he is known to his students, has taught contemporary modern dance and creative movement for youth ages 3-18 through his work with Young Audiences of Northeast Ohio and CCDT’s CONSORT! Youth Dance Ensemble, Karamu House and community theatres throughout Northeast Ohio. Mr. Desmond is committed to making dance accessible to all: “We move every day in every way. Dance is the ART of movement.”
